| Notes | The villa is situated on a complex in central Fuerteventura, next to the Caleta golf course, where the Spanish open 2004 was held. The course opened in April 2002 and is a 18 hole par 70 with 3 large lakes, beautiful views and fantastic weather all year round. The harbour is 10 min walk from the villa and has a good selection of excursions on various boats.If you have sports in mind, there is windsurfing and surfing lessons on hand at the horse shoe bay as well as lovely beaches with white sand to sunbathe all day long. There is a shopping mall only 5mins walk from the villa boasting a range of shops, and restaurants. All kinds of cuisine on offer, from Spanish, Chinese, Portugese, and English food. Also a selection of pubs and clubs for those who like to go out and party. The complex has communal pools which are all completely brand new and are perfect for a relaxing swim. |
Golf details
Fuerteventura Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course with lush fairways, swaying palm trees and challenging water hazards. It's a par 71 round extending 6124 metres, with a mild descent from the Clubhouse Hotel heading towards the sea.
The course was designed by Architect Juan Catarimeau, who attempted to design it so anyone could play. Therefore there are just as many easy holes as there are hard ones. The course has simplicity added with beauty to make it one of the most spectacular Golf Courses in the world. Not to mention the all year round sunshine to play it in!
Its main difficulties are generally associated with the breeze and its many lakes and trees, however there are no trees on the fairways. The dominating breeze comes from the North and when it blows strongly it converts the course into a real challenge.
