Fuerteventura Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course with lush fairways, swaying palm trees and challenging water hazards. It's a par 71 round extending 6124 metres, with a mild descent from the Clubhouse Hotel heading towards the sea. The course was designed by Architect Juan Catarimeau, who attempted to design it so anyone could play. Therefore there are just as many easy holes as there are hard ones. The course has simplicity added with beauty to make it one of the most spectacular Golf Courses in the world. Not to mention the all year round sunshine to play it in! Its main difficulties are generally associated with the breeze and its many lakes and trees, however there are no trees on the fairways. The dominating breeze comes from the North and when it blows strongly it converts the course into a real challenge.
