Award winning cottagess in a glorious location over looking dales and rolling countryside in the heart of the White Peak area of the Peak District. The spacious two person cottage boasts a galleried bedroom overlooking a large living room which has a log-burner on a stone plinth in its centre as a focal point, All the cottages have exposed beams and stone-work.. In front of the cottages is a large grassed and garden area. Off-road parking. Each cottage have seven(!) highly organised, and personalised information folders - the best in the business? Housekeeping and attention to detail is regarded by the owners as being of paramount important There are two wild flowers meadows on the owner's land, which is surrounded by a nature reserve leading to the River Dove , Numerous footpaths are on the dorrstep offering unrivalled walking in the best part of the White Peak. There are three cycle trails within 3 miles of about 15 miles each. The nearest pub is 700 yards awa

Buxton , Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Leek and Chatsworth House are all about 11 milees away, these market towns being on the edge of the White Peak Area of the Peak District at different points on the compass, confirming the owners claim to be very much in the heart of the White Peak. (The White Peak is that area of the Peak District consisting of rolling countryside, dales, streams and rivers limestone villages and dry-stone walls, which give the area so much character)

The owners know little about golf but advise that there are two golf courses in Buxton 11 miels and 15 minutes drive away and also a range 12 miles and 20 minutes away just on the other side of buxton
