The town offers a colourful slection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants along its pedestrianised Thoroughfare, and also has its own cinema and Theatre complex at The Old Maltings. There is an open-air swimming pool in the town, and a heated, indoor pool at Bungay, just eight miles away. Halesworth is the perfect location to explore the SuffolK Heritage Coast, with the famous coastal town of Southwold just eight miles away, with its spectacular promenade, sandy beaches and recently rebuilt pier and is also the home of the Adnams brewery.
