Chris & Heidi welcome you to Penrose, their beautiful AA 4 stars rated Victorian home with spacious rooms and plenty of original features. We have a range of family/double/twin ensuite rooms plus a family suite of rooms plus kitchen. All the bedrooms have TV, DVD/CD player, hairdryer, extensive beverage tray and bottled mineral water. The ensuites have electric showers plus fresh towels, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. Breakfast is full cooked plus as much cereal, toast, orange juice, fruit, tea & coffee as you want. Lostwithiel is the antiques capital of Cornwall and has many pubs, restaurants, a river walk, church, museum etc within a 10-minute walk. The Eden Project is only a 10-minute drive, so are the local beaches.

Lostwithiel
Lostwithiel is a small country town, ideally situated to explore the whole of Cornwall. Lostwithiel is the antiques capital of Cornwall and has many pubs, restaurants, church, castle, teashops and many interesting shops within a 5 to 10 minute walk from Penrose. There are lots of amenities close by, including a golf course, train station, castle, coastal walks, cycling, gardens, fishing, sailing and of course The Eden Project. The local beach is a 10-minute drive away, the north coast and surfing is 40 minutes drive. Naturally there are lots of golf clubs very close by, including Lostwithiel Golf & Country Club.

The local clubs are: Lostwithiel Golf & Country Club, Lanhydrock Golf Club, Porthpean Golf Club, Carlyon Bay Golf Club to name but a few.

Breakfast
Breakfast is full cooked English, which comprises of bacon, sausage, fried or scrambled egg, hash brown, tomato, black pudding, mushrooms and vegetarian sausage, plus as much cereal, toast, orange juice, fruit, jam & marmalade and tea & coffee as you want. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will try our best to help you.

Self Catering
Two of our rooms can make a 1/2 bedroom ground floor apartment, which can sleep 2/5 people. The first bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2 armchairs, the TV has the full Sky package plus there is a DVD/CD player. French windows open onto a patio. A fully equipped kitchen also includes double oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, table and two chairs (more chairs can be provided). The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, sink, toilet and bidet. Towels are also provided in the price. As a 2 bedroom apartment, there are interconnecting doors from the first bedroom to another large bedroom with a double bed, single bed, wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers, TV, DVD/CD player and a 2-seater sofa in the bay window. There is an ensuite, with a shower, toilet and sink. Linen is provided along with the duvet and pillows. Each bedroom also is provided with hairdryer, extensive beverage tray and bottled mineral water.
