Superb high quality ground floor apartment, large and elegant but with a relaxing feel and plenty of outside space. Spacious, (124 m2) sleeps up to 11 people but with one bathroom and 2 bedroom basins 8/9 would be comfortable. Long wide entrance hall. Two balconies leading from the sejour/sitting room are both south facing with lovely views over the mountain range of la Fizz. Fully equipped with garden furniture. The larger balcony would accommodate 10/11 people to dine (or small barbecue for a winter evening) and in summer is a sun trap (hence the automatic sunshade!) and is secured for a play area for small children. There is an amazing double glazed veranda with a stunning panorama over the Aravis range and the valley of the Arve. The apartment is in a very quiet part of St Gervais overlooking the garden, you feel in the heart of the mountains but only 2 mins walk from cafes, restaurants and shops. The rack railway is 2 mins walk and the ski shuttle to the cabins (7 mins) stop out

| Notes | Apart from the wonderful golf the possibilities for walking, climbing, riding, mountain biking (on marked trails), ballooning, canoeing etc are endless. There are 184 km of marked walks around St Gervais alone. The town boasts a lovely open air swimming pool and tennis complex, The Spa offers health and beauty treatments and its natural waters have attracted people since the turn of the century. There is an indoor swimming pool in the park surrounding the Spa and a lovely walk from here takes you to the wonderful cascade pouring into the gorge which runs through the town. An ice rink and equitation centre at Bettex for riding in the mountains. Guided walks are arranged at the ‘Cimes’ or at the tourist centre which take you into the beautiful countryside to view the wildlife. The cable cars and tramway run from mid June to mid Sept for walks high in the mountains. Mont Blanc tramway is one of the oldest rack railways in France and worth the trip |
