Beautiful & spacious converted farmhouse on 3 storeys
Holidays at Wisteria Lodge include accommodation, food and organised golfing trips, in a relaxed and friendly location. Plus a little adventure. Try white water rafting in the morning, golf in the afternoon, and beer and bragging on the balcony in the evening. The house is a stunning building of stone and wood located in a pretty little hamlet. The 3 storeys are linked by a stone spiral staircase, with the huge lounge (and views) on the top floor. Plenty of squashy sofas to relax on; DVDs, CDs, books and games. The large balcony is perfect for chilling before dinner, with views across the valley to the distant Mont Blanc. The 5 bedrooms include 3 doubles and 2 twins, all furnished with character. Our golfing holidays include: breakfasts, evening meals with wine, pre-dinner drinks; transport to up to 6 different local golf courses, either at altitude or beside lovely mountain lakes; and optional non-golfing adventures such as white water rafting and tandem paraglide flights.

Montorlin
A pretty, peaceful farming hamlet set in apple orchards. A tree-lined track takes you to Montchavin - Les Coches which in July and August is a lively resort village with shops, cafes, restaurants, an open air swimming pool, ice-skating rink, and many other activities (tennis, archery, climbing, mountain biking etc). 20 minutes drive away is the Vanoise National Park with miles of walking trails and lovely picnic spots, whilst down in the valley a leisure lake makes a great spot for swimming and sunbathing.

Golf details
The closest local golf courses are at altitudes ranging from 1400 to 1800 metres, with views of mountain pastures and the eternal snows of the glaciers. Courses offer 9 or 18 hole options and you will find the greens uncrowded and excellently priced.
Slightly further away are the lake-side golf courses at Annecy and Aix Les Bains. Set on wooded slopes with tantalising glimpses of chateaux and lakes you should find plenty of variety and challenge here!
