Les Lavandes is situated in a lovely countryside setting overlooking the foothills of the Jura, in South-East Burgundy, France. It is a beautiful 18th century timber framed house set in a large garden. Painting holidays are offered all year round as well as bed and breakfast. The whole house is also available for rent during the summer months for short lets.

Savigny en Revermont
Situated between the medieval town of Louhans in South Burgundy and the capital town of Lons le Saunier in the Jura, which has a golf course. Each town is approximately 15 kilometres away. Located equidistant from both Lyons and Geneva airports which are roughly an hour and a half by car. Only 15 minutes form Junction 8 off the A39. Can also be reached by train. The nearest stations are Louhans or Lons le Saunier.

  • The bedrooms are all very different in style. Although we do not have disabled facilities, one of the bedrooms is at ground level and has its own private entrance. This pretty room has a low beamed ceiling and the shower room is opposite. Another small double bedroom is in the centre of the house and has a French bed and high decorative ceiling. This room overlooks the garden. The third bedroom is large and airy and has a king size bed. There is a large shower room next to it.

NotesAt Les Lavandes, we offer Painting Holidays, with fun tuition for up to four people. We also offer Painting Workshops for larger groups. But for those who just wishing bed and breakfast, we are open all year. During the summer months we let our home for a week or a fortnight at a time. Breakfast consists of fresh baguettes, fruit juices, home made jams, free range eggs, fruit and yogurts. Home cooked evening meals using regional produce are also offered and are taken outside in the warmer months on the terrace overlooking the tiny church spires and vineyards of the Revermont. The region is very unspoilt and there is plenty to do and see. Lakes, cascades, chateaux and pretty little wine villages are all on our doorstep. The freshwater lakes are perfect for swimming activities and are a 45 minute drive away. There are plenty of country walks on our doorstep. We can offer a relaxing holiday in a peaceful part of rural France.
Golf details
The 18 hole golf course of Val de Sorne offers unforgettable views of the Jura countryside, vineyards and villages. This 72 par, 6000 m golf course is a championship course which can be played by golfers of all levels. The architect Hugues Lambert designed this spectacular course where each hole has its own special character. It can be found near Lons le Saunier about half an hour from Les Lavandes.
