Very close to the river Dronne which and has much to offer along its banks, great restaurants, pretty villages, a "sandy beach", small water park, fishing, canoeing etc. The sights of the Dordogne can easily be explored including mediaeval towns like Perigueux, the world famous painted caves and the weekly market at Riberac.
