Set amongst gently rolling countryside in a traditional small farm now converted to accommodate our guests in fully equipped gites with lovely views. Each gite has two large bedrooms and two bathrooms and the option of two large single beds in the lounge area. There is a solar heated pool with terracing and private garden together with BBQ, sunbeds, tables and chairs. There are over 400 kms of cycle ways in the area, fishing, windsurfing on Lac Rochereau and three golf courses within one hours drive. There are numerous restaurants in the area offering very fine French cuisine. The region is rich in history yet within easy reach of the coast and 30 minutes from the famous Puy du Fou.

Situated in the Loire Valley, 1 hour from La Rochelle, 1 hour from Nantes between Chantonnay and Pouzauges.

La Domangère, Nesmy - 6472m 18 Holes Par 72 - 40 minute drive-very pretty and challenging with plenty of water. Les Fontenells, L'Aigullion sur Vie - 6195m 18 Holes Par 72 - 1 hour drive-plenty of excellent water features and maritime pine. Le Petit Chêne, Maziêres-en-Gâtine - 6021m 18 Holes Par 72 - 1 hour drive-set amongst lakes and ancient trees, stay for lunch in the beautiful Château situated on the edge of the golf course. There are more golf courses which are further to drive to, they are all part of the Formule Golf and good reductions are available by buying books of tickets for the golf and also buggies if required, this can be done by the owners prior to your visit.
