It is equipped with under floor-heating which can be regulated individually for each room according to your needs (i.e. cooler bedrooms). The living-room and the bedrooms have parquet flooring, the other areas are covered with tiles. This is a non-smoker apartment. You'll relax in an old historical monument. With 89 square meters, up to six persons can be accommodated comfortably so that you'll keep out of each other's way. The apartment has its own entrance, so you will be undisturbed and won't disturb anybody else when coming "home" late at night, or leaving early for a hike. During the summer you can use the lawn to take a sun bath or have your meals in the garden (rustic garden furniture at your disposal). Even though you are in the midst of the small town, you won't hear and see anything, as you are surrounded by 1400m² of garden and hedges. Apart from the castle with its Hunting Museum and its yearly Summer Festival, the estate - the second largest nature and rock reserve in Bavaria - attrackts lots of visitors each year. As does the former railway embankment to Regensburg, 35 nice km travelled by bike riders in the summer and cross country skiers in the winter. Falkenstein itself has a picturesque market-place with a historic town hall, a heated open-air pool with a beach-volleyball field, mini-golf and Kneipp cure complex.
