It is one of the most verdant areas in Rethymnon (Rethymno) prefecture, with countless vineyards and olive tree plantations. Agia Triada surrounded by breathtaking natural features such as canyons, hills and nearby beaches. Rethymnon prefecture is a popular holiday hot spot between the Heraklion (Iraklio) and Chania (Hania) prefectures. It is famous for its natural beauty, as it possesses mountainous lands, canyons and marvelous beaches along the northern and southern coasts. In Rethymnon visitors will be impressed by the old town, archaeological sites, historical monuments and picturesque settlements. Just because you have arrived without your clubs, don't let that put you off. Likewise, if you don't have anyone to play with, speak with your hotel rep or call the club direct and they will do everything they can to find you a suitable partner. CAN I HIRE CLUBS AT THE CLUB? Yes, of course you can. Crete Golf Club has a large stock of quality hire clubs, both for right and left-handed golfers. WHAT ABOUT SHOES? We don't hire out shoes but we do stock a large selection of shoes in our well-equipped professional shop. As an added bonus, if you buy a pair of shoes, we will give you a FREE sleeve of three Titleist Pro VI s to use on the golf course. I DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO PLAY WITH, WHAT CAN I DO? Crete Golf Club is owned by a group of eminent local hoteliers. At many of their hotels you will find lists asking you whether you want to play golf. If you do, simply odd your name and room number and you will be contacted to see when you want to ploy. If you can't find a list, phone the club direct and we will do out best to find you partners with similar handicaps to you. DOES THE CLUB RUN COMPETITIONS? Yes, we do, subject to demand, if you want to take part, give us a call and we will confirm when the next events are to be held? DO YOU HAVE BUGGIES? We do. We have about 30 Yamaha carts which you can use if you want to. However, they aren't obligatory. Feel free to walk if that's what you want to do. I'M THINKING OF TAKING UP GOLF.
