The house has a large enclosed garden (over 1/2 acre) and plenty of space to play. The row boat is available to all guests and life jackets are also available. Ballycurrin Bay, where the house is situated, is a renowned trout fishing spot. It is perfectly safe to swim in the lake beside the house. If you are interested in weather watching there is also a sophisticated weather station installed monitoring rainfall, wind, barometric pressure and temperature!.
Travel is by car and Ballycurrin is 4 miles from Headford town, which has all amenities including shops, pubs, choice of restaurants and a large supermarket. Galway City Centre is within 35 minutes drive.
