The row boat is available to all guests and life jackets are also available. Ballycurrin Bay, where the house is situated, is a renowned trout fishing spot. It is perfectly safe to swim in the lake beside the house. If you are interested in weather watching there is also a sophisticated weather station installed monitoring rainfall, wind, barometric pressure and temperature!. Golf details

As well a 3 clubs close to Galway city, there are also three further west of Oughterard. In addition there is Oughterard itself there is Ballinrobe, Loughrea & Claremorris to name a few. The spectacular Rossespoint Sligo is also within stricking distance!
