Aughavannagh Cottage is an old Irish farmhouse situated in the spectacular Wicklow Mountains just one hour south of Dublin. Set in a peaceful wooded valley beside a little stream it is the ideal location for a perfect Irish golfing holiday. Sleeping up to 7, this lovely house is full equipped with every modern convenience yet retains all the charm of a bygone era. Easily accessible from ferries and airports, this is the perfect venue for golf, hill walking, sailing and fishing - or just lazing about enjoying the beautiful Irish landscape. This lovely old house comprises a fully equipped kitchen with a huge old farmhouse table and oil fired range as well as a modern hob and oven.Theres a pretty sitting room with open fire, tv,video and stereo system. There are 3 beautiful double bedrooms and one single bed room - all with gorgeous views as well as two bathrooms -one upstairs and one downstairs.

A beautiful scenic mountain area with easy access to a range of outdoor pursuits yet within easy reach of air and ferry ports.The house is set on 5 acres with ample space for sitting outside and there is garden furniture and a barbecue. In the local area there are many pretty villages (including 'Ballykissangel' of TV fame) complete with welcoming pubs and restaurants. The beautiful valley of Glendalough is 20 minutes away and the lovely blue flag beach at Brittas Bay is half an hour down the valley. The vibrant city of Dublin is easily accessible for day trips to the Guinness brewery and Trinity College and further afield but easily reached are attractions such as the medieval city of Kilkenny.
