" Borgo 8 is a nice apartment in the historical centre of San Casciano in Val di Pesa. It has been recently restored, and it has an independent heating system. We have reserved our guests a private parking spot in the closest public parking house to the apartment. One master bedroom, one single bedroom, one bathroom with a shower, a kitchen, and a small living room. Just a few steps away from the apartment, guests can enjoy breathtaking sunsets on a beautiful, terracotta-paved terrace located in the house's spacious backyard facing the Pesa river valley. Moreover, guests can relax and lye in the sun in our olive tree garden, furnished with a table, garden chairs and a lying chair. San Casciano is a medieval town with well preserved city wals dating back to the Middle Ages, which offers visitors many an opportunity to enjoy their stay. Beautiful art works, delicious food and one of the best wines of the world (Chianti Classico), together with exciting one-day excursions.

Sancasciano in Val di Pesa
San Casciano is one of the biggest towns in the Chianti Classico area. Only four km out of town, guests can visit Niccolo Machiavelli's exile residence, where the famous author wrote his well-known masterpiece "Il Principe" ("The Prince"). Florence is the most famous and closest touristic destination; it can be easily reached thanks to the excellent bus service. The bus stop is only 100 m away from our apartment. The Chianti area, with its charming towns and luxurious vineyards, lyes all around San Casciano. Farms and wineries can be visited for wine-tasting and local food shopping, such as olive oil, cheese and meats. Siena, worldwide known for the "Palio" (July 2nd and August 16th) is only 35 minutes away. San Gimignano with its antique house towers, can be reached within 20 minutes car drive, and Volterra, homeland of the ancient Etruscan civilization, is just 1 hour away by car as well as Pisa and Lucca. Beautiful beaches are also about 100 km away from us and, thanks to the h

Roberto and Anna, the owners, live in the same house as well as their family.

Circolo Golf dell'Ugolino 18 holes: 5,676m: par 72. In the very heart of Chianti country, Ugolino is the birthplace of Italian golf, occupying its current site since 1933. A club rich in tradition. The front 9 swoops through the hills and shaping of shots will help. Back 9 is more level and offers some scoring opportunities. It is located along the Chiantigiana Road and over the years countless tournaments have been played on this golf course.
