| Notes | The Borgo is the ideal startingpoint to discover the Eternal City with its unique features, from ancient times to Renaissance and Baroque. Surrounding Lazio is packed with historical sites and cities, from the Etruscan civilisation (Tuscania and Viterbo), to Roman remains (Ostia Antica, Vetralla or the baths in Tivoli) and many medieval walled towns with castles, ramparts and narrow winding streets amid old stone houses. Not far from your apartment there are the Albano hills, and the Castelli Romani with Genzano, Frascati or Grottaferrata. |

Borgo del Poggio is located in a strategic position close to Ciampino airport, the marvellous Castelgandolfo Country Club and the Fioranello Golf Club.
Playing at Castelgandolfo Country Club is a truly remarkable experience. Since the course was designed by the famous Robert Trent Jones, you caanot allow yourself te be in any way distracted. The course containes holes that require powerful shots and short holes that are extremely delicate. In addition, it is important to be precise on the greens because they undulate and they are at different levels, besides being defended by 97 bunkers and three lakes. Hole 4 is one of the five hundred most outstanding holes in the world, according to Golf Magazine.
Situated at the highest point of the Golf Club the area offers synthetic mats and grass. The "Golf Academy",housed under cover, contains a swing analyzer, computers and video cameras which will enable you to analyze your game, under the supervision of professionals. In addition, an area devoted to "pitch and putt" allows you to fine your short game.
The Fioranello Golf Club, more of an intimate, private atmosphere represents a picturesque experience. A real jewel, born from the pencil of architect David Mezzacane, perfectly integrated in an ambiental context of rare beauty, between the antique remains of the Roman
