Within a circumference of approximatelly km 100 are located the most beautiful tuscan cities: Originally an ancient sighting tower in the Middle Ages, then Michelangelo`s stone-cutters dwelling Casale Fontibucci was then transformed into a farmhouse and then in a vacation home - bed and breakfast. Today, the buildings have been completely renovated with every modern comfort within while faithfully preserving the buildings original aesthetic and architectural design.

Swimming pool
With a curved shape like a small lake, surrounded by flowers, shrubs, olives and cypress trees, our swimming pool is open from the end of May to September and, like the sun terrace, commands a spectacular view of Florence. It is equipped with garden umbrellas and deckchairs. Towels for the swimming pool are at guests’ disposal.

Breakfast & Parking
Continental Breakfast, based on cakes and jams made by the owner herself from the fruits of the garden. Parking is on the private road in front of the gate of the estate. Just a few kilometres from Casale Fontibucci, there are 2 riding-schools (enabling guests to visit the countryside around the estate on horseback), tennis courts and a golf club.

Facilities within the property
Wine, olive oil and honey are produced at a nearby farmhouse, and other products such as sausages and cheese are made and sold in local shops. Food shops can be found in the nearby villages of San Romolo, Villamagna, Candeli and Vallina. Bagno A Ripoli (ten minutes’ drive) has a supermarket, post office, church, bank and shops. There are numerous restaurants (open on Sundays) in the vicinity of Casale Fontibucci, and we shall be happy to make recommendations upon request.
