Conca Specchiulla is a resort village located on the way between the towns of Otranto
and Torre dell'Orso. It is immersed in a wonderful pinewood in the Mediterranean scrub.
Plenty of small picturesque sandy coves are near the village, they can be easily
reached by walking along the pinewood paths. An equipped beach can be reached in 5
minutes by shuttle train.
The villa overlooks on the pinewood, it is really beautiful, fully equipped and
accommodates four people very comfortably:
- 1 bedroom with double bed,
- 1 bedroom with bunk bed,
- 1 bathroom with shower and washing machine,
- 1 small kitchen with oven and dishwasher,
- 1 open plan sitting and dining room with chimney and TV,
- 50 sq mt patio with wooden table and chairs, barbecue and shower,
- parking space for one car,
Rental is inclusive of all household linen (bedding, bath towels and kitchen linen) with
weekly replacement.

Not far from Conca Specchiulla (17 km), near the Adriatic coast, is the course and the facilities of the Acaya Golf Club. The course adjoins, the Nature Reserve of Cesine and it two kilometres away from the Adriatic beach of San Cataldo. The golf course covers an area of 120 hectares. It is surrounded by a thick wood of holly-oaks, by vast olive-groves and rare spontaneous flora, which give to the area a typical Mediterranean aspect. The golf course with 18 championship holes (72 par) is situated in this area of extraordinary beauty.
Course facilities include a practice course, a pitching green and putting green. It is also possible to hire a golf kart and golf equipment. The Club House is the former Masseria San Pietro, a remarkable fortified 17th century farmhouse, with a beautiful courtyard.

You can visit Otranto, 10 km., and cathedral of the Annunziata with a grandiose interior and a highly original floor mosaic, telling stories from the Bible, mankind and stories of King Arthur and of Charlemagne; Gallipoli, which extends into the sea on a headland and small island joined by a bridge; Lecce, the "Florence of South Italy " with the artistic and architectural treasures, inspired by the characteristic Baroque style created by able craftsmen using the tender "Lecce Stone"; the Greek villages (8 km ) of Salento are of particular cultural interest, and form a linguistic island, a sort of jewel of Graecism that has survived. . All these places are quickly reachable by driving along picturesque roads crossing the Salento region.
