Lovely self-catering apartment accommodation for 2/6 guests -located in a charming a recently restored 13th century stone manor house. Independent entrance from the gardens and perfect for couples and for small family groups. Away from traffic and only at few kms far from Cities of Art. Details about apart. Guado 90 square metres, 3 rooms, on two levels, this apartment is stylishly decorated in indigo shades and enjoys picturesque country views . Very Spacious open plan living/dining with 1 Sleeper Sofa-Queen, fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 6, plus fireplace, satellite TV and wireless Internet on request. The upper level consists of 2 bedrooms: 1 queen sized with very ample wardrobe space and 1 twin [convertible into a double] with very ample wardrobe. A well appointed bathroom with shower is also located on the upper floor. Sleeps 4+2: 4 the guests accommodated in beds. Other 2 guests can be accommodated on the double sofabed ( extra charge).
The location of elegant Vacation House , at 32 kms from Arezzo and not far from Siena, on the edge of the Chianti wine region and of Umbria, is a very convenient base for visiting Rome and the major of cities of art of Tuscany and Umbria and also for the wonderful small hill-towns nearby, off the main tourist track. They all attainable through the E45 speedway, situated only 3 kms from the villa. For art-lovers, in this area there are Signorelli, Perugino, Pinturicchio frescos in addition to the 'Piero della Francesca trail' around Arezzo, Sansepolcro & Monterchi. There are a number of music festivals in the region, including Umbria Jazz in Perugia in July. Lakes Trasimeno and Montedoglio provide water-sports, trips to islands & a small beach. For history-lovers lovers there is interest everywhere, with Etruscan tombs, Roman remains and medieval city-centres. Or, just simply enjoy the countryside and the beautiful views, stopping at a bar for fresh coffee and real icecream
