Cherry Tree Farm is set in 1 hectare 40 ares located on the edge of the Ojcowski National Park, 16 km west of Krakow in the direction of Olkusz in the village of Wierzchowie. The property is very quietly located on a hilltop with spectacular views of the Wierzchowska limestone cliff to the front and woodland and the distant Tatra mountains to the rear.
The house was built in 1996 but has recently been totally modernised and refurbished, including building a fourth bedroom (double and en-suite) into the roof area.
The property has 2 double bedrooms ( 1 en-suite), one twin and one single bedroom, three bathrooms, a living room, kitchen/dining room. A sofa bed in the living room means that the property will comfortably sleep 9 to 10 people. Fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. TV available. Krakow Valley Golf Course is 25 minutes drive away and claims to be one of the largest golf complexes in Central Europe. As well as an 18 hole championship course designed by Ronald Fream there is a driving range and a par 3 course. Shooting range and horse riding also available at the course and in winter there is a ski slope.

Krakow is only 16km away and has many sights. Enjoy the Royal castle and Cathedral at Wawel, climb the towers of St. Mary’s Basilica, shop in the cloth hall, wander the streets of the Jewish district of Kazimierz, visit the communist city of Nowa Huta, explore the salt mine at Wieliczka and then enjoy a drink in the largest market square in central Europe.
Further afield – Auschwitz is less than an hour’s drive away from Krakow and the Tatra mountains and Zakopane can be reached in 90 minutes. Czestochowa, and the shrine of the Black Madonna, is one hour’s drive away from the property. Explore the limestone gorges and castles of the Ojcow National Park.
