Our two bed, two bath apartment is truly stunning with fabulous views from front balcony to lakes and fountains of the 17th hole, and from the back balcony glorious views of the first fairway and green. Perfect for watching early groups tee off over breakfast and the later groups tackling the 17th fairway over a glass of wine or beer. Extensive (free) chipping, pitching, bunker and putting areas plus driving range (fee payable) together with FREE buggy (subject to availability) make this the perfect destination for the golf enthusiast. Sleeping four, larger groups can be accommodated in adjacent apartments. For non golfers, there is an olympic sized swimming pool, beaches within five minutes, football and tennis academies, children's play areas and on site restaurant

Boavista Golf Resort
A fantastic, almost unknown, championship golf resort - indeed, the first time we played here we had never heard of it and by the end of the first round had put the deposit down on this apartment so that we could become members. The resort itself offers everything you could possibly want - course, Tennis and Golf Academies, on-site excellent restaurant/bar, children's play areas and extensive practice areas for chipping, bunker, pitching and bunker shots plus driving range. Within five minutes' drive there are numerous restaurants both in the vibrant historic town of lagos and in the surrounding villages. Numerous beaches are also within five minutes - as I write this it is New Year's eve and we have been down on the beach today. Lots of other activities nearby such as water sports, horseriding, walking, cycling, children's attractions and so on - full information pack is sent with booking details.

Boavista is a championship 18 hole golf course in superb condition. Normal green fees are amongst the lowest in the Algarve. A comparison table can be provided on request. A further 25% discount is available for people staying in this apartment. 10% on club house and pro shop purchases also available. One free buggy also included in rental price for rounds at Boavista.

Golf highlights
The course may be not the the most well known in the Algarve but it certainly rates amongst the best. And is certainly one of the best value courses on the Algarve - but not at the expense of the quality of the greens or fairways or views. It is suitable for both low and high handicappers. My husband plays off 9, I had only just got my handicap when we first played it. We both liked it so much that we bought an apartment here the first time we played it just so that we could become a member. Since then we have bought friends who are pros and friends who are high handicappers to stay, and all say this is the best course they have played in either Portugal or Spain. The views are just splendid - from looking over the Atlantic, down ravines and across the Portuguese countryside. It's a course you could never get bored with.

For those wanting to play more than one course whilst staying here, Palmares is just 10 minutes away. Parque da Foresta a similar distance. The world famous Penina course is 15 minutes' away, as are two new courses at Morgado which are splendid. Alto is also about 15 minutes away.
