The Portofino Apartaments are a new complex built to a high standard and with luxury furnishings. The complex has an excellent location in a residential area to the west of the Marina,. It is situated at approximately 900 metres from the Marina, a 10-minute gentle walk and 1.200 metres from the Falésia beach also a 10-minute leisurely walk. There are 10 one bedroom apartments and 3 two bedroom apartments for holiday rental. The one bedroom apartment is beautifully furnished and comprises of entrance hall, full bathroom, a twin bedroom with built-in wardrobe and French window opening onto a balcony; the fully equipped kitchen and the lounge / dining room which seats 4 people has two sofa beds (sleeps 1 person each) TV and a French window that opens onto the south facing terrace. The apartments are air conditioning. The complex has landscaped garden, a large communal swimming pool with a waterfall and a Jacuzzi and a children’s paddling pool.

We change the towels mid week stay and all the linen at the end of the week stay.

| Notes | The apartments are very well located in a residential area, 900 metres to the west of the Marina and 1200 metres from the beach. They are within easy walking distance to the Marina with its many shops, bars, restaurants and night entertainement. The Lake resort with the Spa are also just a short walk away. Nearby, approx. 300 metres form the Portofino there are some very nice restaurants, snack/bars, supermarket and a very cosy local pub/bar with evening entertainment, most major sports on TV and internet access. The Vilamoura Tennis centre, the Green Bowling and the Roma Mini golf are also jus 5 minutes walk. There are five 18 hole golf courses nearby, two beautiful beaches, (the Marina beach and the Falésia beach), various other sports and water sports/parks enjoyed by all ages. The nearest water Park, the Aquashow which has a large wave pool, many slides and the biggest water roller coster in Europe despite other attractions is opened all year round and is ideal for a family outing |
Golf details
Vilamoura is a first class golfing destination, with five championship courses in the immediate vicinity. The Old Course was Vilamoura’s first, opened in 1969. It enjoys gentle, sloping hills with tree-lined fairways. This course hosted the Portuguese Open in 1970 and 1979. Pinhal winds through umbrella pines. It’s not as difficult as the Old Course and is more forgiving for the average golfer. On the Laguna course, water hazards come into pay on more than half the holes, so bring plenty of golf balls! It is a real test of golfing accuracy. The Millennium Course, opened in 2000, is destined to become one of the most attractive and interesting courses in Portugal. Finally, the brand new Victoria Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, was opened in September 2004. It hosted the Algarve World Cup in November 2005. This is destined to become one of the best and most sophisticated courses in Europe. There are numerous other courses nearby, including Vila Sol, Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Balaia. There are 29 courses with in a 50 minutes drive of us, with the bulk of them situated with in 30 minutes. If you love your golf you will love Vilamoura
