Castro Verde is located within the centre of the lower Alentejo region. Forty minutes drive south lies the popular and beautiful beaches & towns of the southern coastal region known as the Algarve. Forty minutes drive west lies the stunningly, un spoilt beaches, estuaries and towns along the Atlantic Coast line. Ninety minutes to the north is Lisbon the historic capital city of Portugal. Sixty minutes to the east is the beautiful Spanish border. Whites Lands Although it is characterised by vast and sunny plains, with apparently endless wheat-fields, the Alentejo always offers new landscapes. The plains of Castro Verde, full of thousands of white flowers during spring, are excellent for walks by foot or by bicycle, and then you can fully appreciate the fauna and flora typical of the region’s flat lands.

The balance must be received 6 weeks prior to your arrival. All bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival must be paid in full. If you need to change your reservation we will try to accommodate, however if this is not possible we are unable to refund your deposit. Minimum Age - It is our policy that persons staying at Monte da Quinta must be a minimum of 21 years of age unless accompanied by an adult.
