The property has 2 large double bedrooms upstairs both with windows overlooking the garden. On the ground floor there is a spacious fully equiped kitchen (including a washing machine). The ground floor bathroom is situated off of the lounge and has a shower, toilet and handbasin. Private parking area for up to 3 cars. Rio Cabana provides an ideal base for exploring this virtually undiscovered area of green Portugal. It's surrounded by pine and eucalyptus forests and there are endless possibilities for walking, rambling and cycling. There are many lovely river beaches in the surrounding villages , whilst canoeing, hang-gliding and 4x4 tours are available slightly further afield, but all within an hours drive. There are the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Costa da Prata (Silver Coast - excellent for surfing), the ski resort of the Serra da Estrela and the wonderfully preserved roman ruins at Conimbriga.
