Casa das Vinhas is situated in its own grounds of four acres which was once a vineyard (hence the name) but is now surrounded by Olive, Fig, Carob and Almond trees. The villa faces South and has landscaped gardens, large terraces and heated pool with wonderful views of the countryside and around to the Monchique Mountains in the north. This is an ideal location for a quiet and peaceful holiday. The accommodation comprises of 4 bedrooms, 2 double rooms with en suite and two twin rooms which share the main bathroom. The lounge dining room is equipped with satelitte TV, DVD, video recorder and music centre. Fully equipped modern Kitchen with fitted dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas hob abd electric oven, microwave, washing machine and all necessary electrical appliances. The large exterior terrace provides sun loungers, dining facilities, bbq, exterior shower and 8 x 4 heated pool. Steps lead down to the landscaped gardens. At the front of the villa is car parking for 8 cars.

Armacao de Pera
Only 2km from the villa is the town of Armacao de Pera which was once a small fishing village but is now a thriving holiday resort and is renowned for its mile long sandy beach. The town offers a host of bars, restaurants, beach bars and shops and an excellent fish and vegetable market open 6 days a week. Fishing is still very important to the local community as can be seen by the number of boats and the net mending activity found along the eastern side of the beach. To the west of the villa lies the very quaint village of Porches. This tiny pretty village has a bank, church, local shops but is more famous as the home of three excellent restaurants 'Oleao', 'Mr Grillo' and 'The Old Winery'. The villa is also well situated for a visit to Silves, once the Capital of the Algarve, and now a thriving tourist centre. The Old Fortress is well worth a visit.

The weekly prices include pool heating, maid service 5 days per week, pool cleaning and all linen. A deposit of £150 is requested per booking and the balance of rental to be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date. Should it be necessary to cancel your reservation, a deposit will only be refunded provided we have been given ample time to secure another reservation.
