The beach is fine sand. The beach is gradual for a short distance. The water is clear water. There are good swimming conditions in lukewarm water in the summer. Villa is south facing towards the ocean. There is a straight road to the sea/beach and it is estimated a 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car (1.3 km) to the nearest beach (Garrao) which also have restaurants etc. Other nearby beaches are Ancao and Vale do Lobo. Vilamoura is 8 km away and boasts another beach as well as a Marina with all its restaurants, casino, night clubs etc. You are surrounded by several golf courses.
