Golf club description

The first one in Spain designed by Severiano Ballesteros, offers 36 holes which are divided into two rounds of 18 holes. 27 holes were inaugurated in 1990 and the additional 9 holes in spring 2001.The course is interesting for players of all levels The course has a total surface of 123 hectares, and includes a spacious practise area. The driving range offers space for 110 players simultaneously ( 25 spaces covered ) 3 chipping greens, 2 putting greens and 3 holes Pitch & Putt. Furthermore, the PGA Golf Academy of the club has its own exclusive practice area. Due to the incorporation of the course Golf Campano ( San Andres Golf) Golf Novo Sancti Petri offers since march 2007 additional 9 newly built holes and from November 2007, after the reformation of the already existing 9 holes, offers 54 holes. This enlargement from 36 holes to 54 holes in 2007 will turn Golf Novo Sancti Petri into the biggest golf resort of the region and to one of the biggest golf courses of entire Spain.

NotesThe Club disposes of a modernly designed spacious clubhouse with a warm and welcoming atmosphere (wood, skylight, beautiful views onto the course, decorated with plants) and hosts the reception area, all offices for reservations and tournament organisation, changing rooms with showers and sauna, the PRO-Shop and a children´s club. Hand and electric trolleys as well as buggies can be hired at the Caddy Master. Our à la carte restaurant “LOS OLIVOS” offers a variety of Andalucian specialities and fish delicacies of the coast. In the Bistro guests can enjoy snacks or light golfers lunches on the terrace – with a beautiful view onto the course – or inside at the bar. Our pub “EL CHOZO” – right next to the practice zone – offers – with a terrace on the green – a BBQ during the summer months and the typical Spanish “tapas” – small delicate dishes. The clubhouse can host up to 250 persons inside for events of all types – tournament cocktails, gala dinners and prize giving dinners.
