A spacious ground floor apartment, with 2 bedrooms, a dining area, living room, large kitchen, utility room and ample storage space. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There is a separate shower/WC room and a separate shower room. The balcony is large enough for upto 10 people to have dinner. The block is situated within a secure fenced area and access is via a private road and private gates. There are 3 communal swimming pools, very quiet, never more than 2 people for one pool, even during summer. There are a few restaurants, bars and convenience store within walking distance. Calahonda town centre and the beach is just over 1 mile away and there is a tourist train at regular intervals going into the town centre. The balcony looks over the gardens and views are towards the sea. On a clear day you can see the African continent. The balcony is a perfect place to sunbathe on a winter day, as it it very sheltered.

Calahonda
La Cortijada is one of the well-established developments with spectacular views of the coastline. It is situated on the hills of Calahonda, in a private estate with its own remote controlled security gates. Calahonda beach is just over a mile away, down at the bottom of the hill. The nudist/gay beaches are about 2 miles away. There are other beaches within a short drive range: La Cala beach, Cabopino beach, Marbella beach, Puerto Banus beach, Fuengirola beach and numerous other beaches in between. Malaga airport is 20 minutes away by car. The apartment is very easy to find, should you approach Calahonda from the motorway. Gibraltar airport is 35 minutes away. If you arrive via Gibraltar, then make sure you hire the car from the Spanish side. You only have to walk 2 minutes from the airport, across the border. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle.

A deposit of £150 GBP required to cover breakages and keys. If no damage, this will be refunded. Keys will be posted to your home address, once full payment is received. After vacating property, the keys will need to be posted back and the deposit will then be refunded.

NotesOutside There are 3 large shared swimming pools, with areas for kids. Even during summer time, there are no more than 2 people per pool. During summer months, there is an onsite life-guard. Coast/Beach Calahonda beach is just over a mile away, down at the bottom of the hill. The nudist/gay beaches are about 3 miles away. There are other beaches within a short drive range: La Cala beach, Cabopino beach, Marbella beach, Puerto Banus beach, Fuengirola beach and numerous other beaches in between. Local agencies offer day trips to Morocco. Granada, Seville are within 3 hours drive. Travel Malaga airport is 20 minutes away by car. The apartment is very easy to find, should you approach Calahonda from the motorway. Gibraltar airport is 35 minutes away. Golf details

There are numerous golf courses on the Costa del Sol but the Miraflores Golf Club is right in the heart of Riviera del Sol, about 1,5 mile from the property. The nearby area of Calahonda (0.5 miles) and Cabopino (1,5 mile)boast a golfcourse. The Miraflores Driving Range is situated away from the main club house and buildings. Infact it is located at the top of the Avenida del Golf, where you take a left onto the Avenida Esmerelda. You then cannot miss it on the left-hand side of the road. It is sign posted. Cabopino Club de Golf S.A. is very modern eighteen hole golf course - par 71. It has spectacular views of the sea and the Costa del Sol Club de Golf la Siesta This course is close to the residential area of Calahonda. It is a fairly short course, but the levels vary substantially from tee to green.The distance from the tees to the green varies considerably, and although it is a short course, ideal for short play, you have the sensation that you are playing on a much bigger ground. The course is not too difficult. You can use a wood to reach the green of the 7th. There are wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea from the 9th hole. La Cala Golf The two golf courses at La Cala are the main attraction of the resort. Both, La Cala North (Par 73) and La Cala South (Par 72) have been designed by North American architect Cabell B. Robinson. La Cala Resort is an exclusive residential and recreational complex of approximately 1,000 acres situated between the 'Sierra de Mijas' National Park and the Mediterranean. Located 15 mins drive from our apartment.

This property is recommended for people wishing a peaceful time. Anyone wishing to party will find it disappointing. The downtown clubs/discos are about 1 mile away

The property also comprises a luxury fitted kitchen, with an oven, electric hob, extractor, a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual small kitchen appliances. There is a utility room next to the kitchen. There are a selection of games, boks, DVDs and music for you to enjoy. Here you will be able to enjoy your holiday in privacy and away from the noise of the Calahonda’s main streets. 3 restaurants, 2 bars and a convenience store gives the area a "village-like" feel. While the beach and Calahonda is a 15 minutes walk away, a car is strongly recommended. But why go to the beach, when there are 2 full sized swimming pools in the enormous garden. The gardens are landscaped, with views to the sea and hills and extremely quiet (any more than 5 people is considered extremely busy).
