The recently built house, is integrated in its landscape, sharing stone, common in every house here, haylofts and threshing floors from the village. The interior as well as the walls were built with manually cut stone of four sides. The impressive porch roof on the front, built with baked clay pieces, has to be underlined. LA LAGUNA NEGRA (THE BLACK LAGOON)

**EL BURGO DE OSMA.
The Cathedral. The original Romanesque cathedral was begun by San Pedro de Osma at the beginning of the 12 th century. It was demoslished halway through the 13 th century to be replaced by the present Gothic style cathedral. Only part of the cloister and some minor outbuildings remain of the original Romanesque cathedral.
The main facade dates back yo the 13 th century and was later modified by Cardinal Mendoza. Its tower displays two distinet architectural styles. Gothic in its lower part, Baroque in its upper part.
The inside of the Cathedral is magnificent. In the main chapel there is an altarpiece carved by the sculptors Juan de Juni and Juan Picardo in 1550. The Cathedral is enriched by numerous side chapels wich contain various interesting works of art.
The chapel devoted to Venerable Palafox was financed by King Charles III, and its construction was carried out by the architect Francisco de Sabatini. The magnificent flamboyant Gothic cloister, completed
