Your holiday accommodation is a modern two bungalow situated at Conjunto Macarena, Doña Pepa, Rojales, Ciudad Quesada, comprising of a double bedroom with air-conditioning and en-suite shower, toilet & bidet. The other bedroom is a twin bedded room and has a separate shower room with toilet. In addition there is a divan bed, in the lounge, which can sleep a further two. A cot for an infant can be arranged on request. There is a lounge/dining area with television receiving English channels, leading to an American style kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. To the outside the property, there is an utility room, which contains the washing machine, electric iron and ironing board. you will find gated gardens both at the front and rear of the bungalow. The front garden has a furnished patio area while at the rear of property there are stairs leading up to the roof solarium.

A residential town in the middle of 5 Championship Golf Courses; nearest town and Golf Course is Ciudad Quesada (a 15 minute walk from your front door); then there is Rojales; Torrevieja and Guardamar, both of which have Beaches. Many restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets. There is also a local Tour office providing excursions to various places of interest (and all at very reasonable rates! It is a really beautiful location; not a resort, but with plenty of things to keep eveyone happy. And the weather is glorious! It is cheap enough to hire a car, if you plan to stay for a week, or more; as there is just so much to see and do! The terrain is relatively flat. There is a nature reserve nearrby. There is a regular bus service from Ciudad Quesada (which is only a 15 minute walk from your front door); and many attractions are to be found in the Town. North of the river Segura, which cuts through Orihuela, you will find the Palace of Rubalcava, where the tourist office is.

La Marquesa is located in rural Ciudad Quesada, in a flat valley between mountains, and the layout of the round alternates between long holes and short ones. It is not excessively difficult and so players of all levels will enjoy it. The better players might find it a bit too easy, but the majority will find it very pleasant and will enjoy the excellent walk in a magnificent part of the country. The most difficult factor lies in the characteristic layout of the greens, with their attractive and complicated slopes. The varied and pleasant round is bordered by streams and lakes and is lined with pines and palm trees, which gives the course excellent views and provides beautiful natural surroundings to play in. Villamartin is not one of the more internationally recognised courses in the Costa Blanca but is well worth playing and because it is still rela-tively quiet getting the tee time you want should be possible. While not a terribly long course, the back-tees make this course a chal-lenging test but if you are looking for a relaxed game, from the forward tees a number of short par 4s are fun to play and the water only really comes into play on three holes. The greens are large, rolling and are very receptive, even to slightly miss-hit shots. This is a versatile and generally well-prepared course, easy to play and easily accessible. La Finca golf course is situated at the foot of Mount Escotera, right in the heart of the Segura region. Designed to host top tournaments, La Finca golf course has the greatest variety of greens of any course on the Costa Blanca ranging in size from very large to very small. In addition, the course has a reserve hole so that, in the event that one of the holes has to be closed off unexpectedly, players are still able to complete a full 18-hole round. There are several lakes, streams and reed beds throughout the course that add to the beauty as well as the difficulty of the holes.

La Marquesa is located in rural Ciudad Quesada, an area that nature seems to have created a ready made layout for a golf course. Set in the low-lying land the gently rolling slopes that lend themselves to the design of a very fine golf course. The greatest challenge this course sets comes from the complicated undulations of each of the 18 greens. The fairways are wide and flat making this an easy course to walk, the distances between greens and tees are short. The majority of the holes are "friendly" however there are a few twists in the plot to keep the golfer on their toes if they want to score well. Streams and lakes border the course, which gives excellent views and provides beautiful, natural surroundings to play golf in. Las Ramblas golf course is set in mountainous terrain between two ra-vines on the shore of the Mediterranean. Its location and layout makes the course very interesting for players who like to take a few risks and requires accuracy throughout.

Bird Watching Golfers!
Relatively young in years(2002) but already developed enough to test the best golfers while still being eminently playable for the beginner.The course is long and there is plenty of water, so a good supply of golf balls and probably a buggy is recommended.Lakes and natural running water abound as do the wildlife and add to this the backdrop of the Mount escotera and you have a must play golf course for the golf minded traveller. The nearly 6500 yard course has been designed for tournaments. The natural setting not only provides majestic views of lakes, trees and mountains but it also challenges and makes the game more exciting, including have to hit a ball on an island green on the fifth. La Finca is home to a wide variety of migratory water birds, such as ducks and egrets, while the interior of the course is home to olive and palm trees, thus creating a beautiful backdrop of vegetation with a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.
