Property description

Large Country House with very large pool with stunning mountain views
We have all been to Spain at some time or other, but have we been to the real Spain? We can offer you a taste of true Spanish life in a setting with real Spanish character. We have just completed converting this 100 year-old Finca (Spanish farmhouse) into a delightful B&B retaining the Spanish features; just introducing a few home-comforts. Located outside the beautiful town of Montefrio and Alcala La Real in the Andulician mountains, situated 1.5hrs from Malaga Airport; 40 mins from Granada airport and just 1 hour from Sierra Nevada which offers stunning views and very good skiing in the winter. Granada Airport has just been converted to an International Airport and flights are very reasonable should you book plenty in advance.
Location

Montefrio & Alcala La Real
We are based in between Montefrio and Alcala La Real, both very charming towns where you can soak up the Truly Spanish way of life. There is no tourism as such here and as such you can amble around its tiny streets and enjoy the Traditional Spanish people. There are many many bars and restaurants and you can find whatever you want in these towns and well Granada/Jaen and Cordoba are not to far away for a day trip.

Nearest airport:

NotesThis area of Southern Spain is spectacular with its stunning views and the only traffic you are likely to encounter is the shepherds with their goats. This is also ideal for activity holidays – with scenic walks, cliffs to climb, thousands of kilometres of tracks to explore on two wheels, fantastic scenery to paint, draw and photograph. Cyclists are provided with picturesque roads and breathtaking views. Many of the cycling clubs use the hills in Andulcia for training purposes. Whichever direction you take a short drive will take you into one of the many small Spanish towns where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants. Market days are as follows Monday – Montefrio Tuesday – Alcala La Real Saturday – Priego De Cordoba Sunday – Granada There is the old city of Granada to explore, with its many different districts and interesting architecture. There are many little villages around, of which Montefrio is the most beautiful with all its narrow streets of quaint shops
