Picturesque unspoilt mountain village - stepped back in time. Quiet location to unwind or explore the nearby villages. Only 580 inhabitants. Fresh produce cooked daily in the local bars. "Choto" is a must and do try the local wine "vino del pais". Views are spectacular from the house. No need to leave the village - there are local food shops, restaurants and a XVI church to explore. The locals sit in the square and enjoy the views. The village is surrounded by orange groves and almond trees and olives - the blossoms are stunning in early spring.

It provides the perfect location for your mountain holiday. From your door you can wander to the Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation (XV1) or visit the Moorish Castle (X111). Nearby bars and restaurants serve local dishes of the region. The location is ideal for anybody wanting to explore Las Alpujarras, or simply unwind and relax. Felix has retained it’s village traditions, the locals pick their almonds and olives and keep goats above the village. Working mules can be seen in the village. Almeria is 26 km away with its wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. La Envia golf course is a 10 minute drive. Located on a lake in a valley, between mountains and protected from the winds, the situation creates optimum conditions for golf. The house is equipped with an electric cooker, a fridge, kettle, toaster, an iron and ironing board, cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils, TV, music system will play cds, radio. The woodburner creates a comfortable atmosphere in winter. Bed linen and towels are provided. It has a south facing patio area with table/chairs/parasol, panoramic, interesting views. We are 20 minutes away should you need us and welcome all of our guests personally on arrival.
