If you want to just get away from it all why not try our house in the village of Cuevas de San Marcos, Spain. Situated just 55 minutes from Malaga airport and 65 minutes from Granada this beautiful townhouse is ideal for those wishing to experience real, rural, unspoilt Andalucia. If you want Nightlife and a lively holiday then this may not be for you. On the other hand if you want to explore the historic cities of Granada, Cordoba, Rute, Priego de Cordoba or Antequera then this could be the holiday you have dreamed of. Nothing has been left to chance with all of the 3 bedrooms, which sleep a total of 6 people, each being fully air-conditioned one with en-suite. There is another bathroom upstairs, a balcony, roof terrace, pool, built in BBQ, Lounge with TV, DVD and CD. There is also an airy reading room, good size dining room and fully fitted kitchen with full size oven and hob, washing machine, fridge freezer and even a dishwasher. So you can just relax and enjoy.

Cuevas de San Marcos

The Antequera Golf course is located just 30 minutes drive from our House in Cuevas de San Marcos. The golf course, federated since 2003, is situated 650 metres over the sea level, surrounded by the spectacular mountains of “El TORCAL”, three kilometres away from Antequera’s town centre. The holes (Fairways) have been marked out by olive trees more than 200 years old. It has been very important to emphasize the maintenance of the specific characteristics of its nature and animal life. The golf course is playable all year round, 18 holes, par 72, over 6.000 meters long. Both sets of 9 holes have the same level of difficulty, being composed each one by 2 pars 5 and 2 pars 3, one large and one shorter. 5 par 4’s, one of the par fours is reachable from the tee with a long exceptional shot, one long par for that should be reachable with the second shot for single figure handicappers. The bunkers have been designed to assist your game instead of penalising it. You will find this an enjoyable golf course, though offering some tough challenges. Just 55 minutes away is the Malaga and the Costa del Sol with an abundance of courses to suit all players. Nearer to home , work has already started on Iznajars golf corse due to open soon. We will try to keep you updated with it's progress.

Play until your hearts content at the Antequera Golf, located just 30 minutes drive from Cuevas de San Marcos. With reasonable green fees and all of the facilities you would expect from a top golf club. Situated 650 metres above sea level, surrounded by the spectacular mountains of “El TORCAL” and just three kilometres away from Antequera’s town centre. If you don't mind a drive then take a 'Jolly' to the coast and take in one of the Costa del Sol's many courses there really are tooooo may to mention.

Explore or Relax?
The choice is yours whether to relax on the roof terrace with a good book and a bottle of wine whilst soaking up the breath taking scenary or Explore the nearby town of Rute, with its Museums and Markets. Maybe you wish to cool down in the private 4m x 3m pool or take in Granada and the Alhambra Palace or Sierra Nevadas. At night you may want to take in one of the villages local but friendly bars or restaurants and sample some traditional dishes whilst experimenting with your school Spanish...if not why not have a night in and settle down to a sumptuous barbeque.
