Playa Flamenca is at the southern point of the Costa Blanca, close to the Mar Menor and the regional boarder with Murcia. Approximately 45 minutes drive from Alicante airport and 20 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport. The house can be accessed from both the N332 cost road or the AP7 toll motorway. The area has everything needed for a family holiday, with the Costa Blanca having excellant tourist attractions. Away from the coast you will find traditional villages, historic towns, country and mountain walks. There are many golf courses in the area open to visitors.

VILLAMARTIN: approx 4km from house. Rolling landscape, opened in 1972. An interesting course but not regarded as difficult. Par 72, 6037 metres from yellow and 5259m from red tee. LAS RAMBLAS: Approx 5km from house. Regarded as a challenging course, opened in 1991. It is always recommended that you take a supply of spare balls! Par 71, 5679m from yellow and 4761m from red tee. CAMPOAMOR: Approx 5km from house.The Club house is 100m above sea level and affords views to the sea with Punta Prima to the north all the way to La Manga in the south accross the Mar Menor. A course suitable for all, with larger greens and wide fairways. Par 72, 6056m from the yellow and 5094m from the red tee. LA FINCA: Approx 15 minute drive from the house. Opened in 2002 this is a challenging course designed by Jose Gancedo. Wind can affect the game on the raised areas. Par 72, 6032m from the yellow and 5411m from the red tee. QUESADA: Also known as LA MARQUESA. Opened in 1989. regarded as a white card, flat with wide fairways. Par 72, 5990m from the yellow and 5094m from the red tee. La Manga is also within easy driving distance as are several other lesser known courses.
