luxury penthouse apartment with wonderful sea views
3 bedroomed large (130m2) luxury penthouse apartment, with a fabulous sized terrace (80m2) offering wonderful views of the Mediterranean sea. It is located in a beautifully landscaped gated complex, offering 4 swimming pools plus a childrens pool. The apartment is furnished to an exceptionally high standard. It is conveniently located to all local attractions. There are shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance and the beaches are a short drive or a 20 minute stroll away.

calahonda
There is a small well stocked supermarket 5 minutes walk from the apartment, which is open every day. It sells freshly baked bread and croissants each morning. There is a lovely popular pizza restauarant next to the supermarket, which is open for lunch and dinner, with panoramic sea views. It sells pizza, pasta, salads and local fish dishes. There is also a more formal restauarant, and a bar serving bar snacks, in the same vicinity. The beach is down the hill, which is a 20 minute stroll, or a 5 minute car ride, with easy parking. There is a land train which runs hourly, linking the local supermarket to 2 big shopping centres and close to the beach. Calahonda itself has restaurants for all tastes, including Spanish tapas bars, Chinese, Italian, English, French etc. It also has 3 main shopping areas, each with a very large supermarket, and lots of local shops and tourist shops. The fresh fish is excellent in spain, try the huge prawns and rosada.

The apartment is situated close to numerous excellent golf course. The closest is 9 hole La Siesta, which is literally a couple of minutes from the apartment. Miraflores golf club is 11/2 miles away, is a challenging par 71 course, offering a lovely club house and fantastic food. La Cala has 3 course designed by Cabell robinson offering spectacular views and a gold accademy. Capobina is very challenging and offers superb mediterranean sea views. El chapperral has recently reopened and is a very popular course. Santa Maria ,Artola hotel club , Marbella and Rio Real golf club are all within a fifteen to twenty minute drive of the apartment. The climate is perfect for playing all year round.

Watersports
There are numerous marinas near to our apartment, including cabopino, Benalmadena and marbella and Puerto banus. Sailing boats can be hired from these locations. In addition, numerous beaches offer water sports such as kayak, jet-ski, catamaran, pedaloes and banana boats direct from the beach, including la cala, cabopino and the don carlos beach.

tennis
There is a fantastic tennis club called the Costa Del Sol Tennis club, located a couple of minutes from the apartment. The centre has a gym, squash courts, tennis and paddle tennis courts. The club also organizes mix in and play sessions, which you can join in.

historical interest
theres are lots of wonderful places to visit, whci are all very close to our apartment. notably, mijas, is a lovely hilltop adaluscian village, Ronda a world heritage site, and Granda with it's fantastic ALhambra are all close by.
