For a great holiday this pretty villa is on the exclusive Las Ramblas golf course and only a five minute drive from safe, sandy beaches. Three quarters of an hour south of Alicante and twenty minutes from Murcia. The villa has a private garden at the front and back, a large balcony with outdoor table, a spacious, secluded roof terrace with sun loungers and a lovely view over the course. The sitting/dining area is very comfortable with an open log fire for winter evenings. The villa is furnished to a high standard with marble floors throughout and is equipped with everything you will need. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite) Air conditioning Satellite TV/DVD, CD player and games Fully equipped kitchen

Location
The Costa Blanca is noted for its wonderful climate with 320 days of sun each year and, even in December it is rare for the temperature to drop below 15° during the day. The climate is uniquely dry because of the nearby salt lakes which draw moisture from the air, and the climate is believed to help sufferers of arthritis, asthma and rheumatism. The region is one of the major fruit and vegetable growing areas of Spain and you can buy local produce in the markets. Fifteen minutes away from the coastal area and you will rarely hear English spoken. The countryside inland is pretty with lots of orange and lemon groves and hills where thyme and rosemary grow wild. There are three courses within 3 minutes. Villa Martin is the most established of them and is very popular—the others are Campoamor and Las Ramblas (where the house is!). All courses are championship standard and are very different—Campoamor is set in two valleys with wonderful views, Las Ramblas is very attractive and follows a rambling course over rough terrain with some gulleys and water hazards—a very different course. But all three have that touch of sophistication expected from Southern Spain and offer a challenge for every level of golfer. They are all 18 holes, par 72.
