NotesHistoric Denia and Javea are a short distance with 22km of beautiful award winning sandy beaches and fantastic restaurants. The large village of Pedreguer is 3 mins drive away. Good shopping, historic old town areas and an unlimited choice of bars and restaurants are available. Picturesque inland villages can be found in the Jalon valley, Algar waterfalls, caves, Aqualandia water park, Terra Mitica theme park, safari park and Mundomar sea animal park are all within 30 mins drive. La Sella Tennis is 2 mins drive from the villa, with 8 courts and private tuition available from the Luis Wyche tennis clinic. La Sella riding stables are next to the tennis courts. A smart restaurant and casual bar/restaurant, supermarket and pharmacy are located in the centre of La Sella. All types of water sports, mountain biking, rock climbing, go-karting and hand gliding are available in the local area. A ferry to Ibiza and boat trips along the coast are available from Denia.
Golf details

The villa is one mile from the La Sella 18 (soon to be 27) hole par 72 golf course designed by José Maria Olazábal and is open all year. The course is set in a protected environment at the foot of the Montgo mountain. Facilities include clubs and buggies rental, golf shop, practice field, golf tuition, putting green, restaurant, coffee shop, and car parking. Proof of Handicap is required. The course will also incorporate a Nick Faldo golf institute in 2007. The villa has a partial view of the course. Other golf courses can be found at Oliva Nova and Javea within 15 minutes drive. Next to the golf course is the 5 star Marriott Hotel with its gym, spa and solarium facilities which is available to non-residents.

Travel
Valencia and Alicante airports are equidistant from the villa, approx 100km and just over 1 hour's drive away. The villa is extremely easy to locate. Car hire is essential. Full written directions will be sent to you at the time of the booking.

Coast/Beach
Long sandy blue flag beaches are within 10 mins drive at Denia, and rocky coves for diving and snorkelling are located at Javea.

Skiing
The nearest local winter skiing is at Javalambre approx 2 hours drive to the north, inland of Valencia.
